Essay Contest
Purpose:
To promote awareness of the great danger of tobacco on humans.
Essay topic:
Write an article no more than 500 words using English in any creative way that can lead people to really think about the dangers of tobacco in any form or a similar kind of material that goes through the lungs.
Contest rules:
Every 10-year-old or older from DCLS is required to submit a contest essay. Students under 10 years old are encouraged to if they want to participate. Article must submitted before 10/26/03. The results will be published 11/09/03. We will present the awards on 11/16/03.
The article will be published on our school web site and the DACA newsletter, and AAYAT will work with our participants for future activities.
We will give every participant a small gift. The top 3 winners will be awarded prizes no more than $50. The school or AAYAT will give each winner future reference.
